Maquis Lien Vineyards of Colchagua, Chile
Viña Maquis grows Syrah, Carmenere, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec on its 284-acre estate located at the convergence of two rivers in the Colchagua Valley of Chile. The vineyard’s exclusive geographic position produces wines that have a distinct site-specific character. Vineyards were planted on the estate in the early 20th century, and for over 60 years, their harvest was sold to neighboring Chilean wineries. Today, the Hurtado family continues to focus their efforts in vineyard, cultivating high quality, low yielding vines that produce grapes with intense fruit flavor and an undeniable sense of place - Colchagua, Chile.
